The Energist

Hi Alan, we loved making The Energist (GoE.ac/library/the_energist.html) but when we consulted members only a few said they preferred receiving it by post. Many said they're online a lot these days, that English wasn't their first language or even that they found reading information online more environmentally friendly when you take into consideration the printing, plastic wrap and shipping.

So instead, we've invested in improvements to our website, making a tailored and personal email newsletter that goes out monthly, working on bringing our content & courses to people in different languages, building up our social network presence and also our available YouTube content.

Silvia Hartmann is also doing a weekly live stream for members, which is a fabulously modern way to keep people up-to-date.

I do agree that it would be nice to share Star Matrix stories though! I'll have a think of best way to do that in the modern age. Maybe for now you can post to the Star Matrix online group to make sure none go missing: FB.com/groups/starmatrix/
