Part 6 - Enlightening Cognition

We have already touched on the idea that the movement of energy through the energy body changes cognition and affects beliefs, values and attitudes.

I also made the comment that this is one of the tests of the underlying theory as far as I am concerned that EMO makes real, structural changes to a persons totality, and very importantly, to their neurology.

The EMO process changes beliefs, values, attitudes and impacts cognition directly; one of the most fascinating aspects of this is the enlightenment insights people report during and sometimes after an EMO experience.

The neurology and the cause-and-effects of someone’s personality, problem groups and interlinkages, past and present are absolutely not Aristotelian in nature, but instead a multidimensional matrix with layers and levels so complex that the greatest supercomputer could not begin to unravel.

People’s neurology, on the other hand, is exactly designed to compute this multi-dimensional complexity. This is exactly why we have “more neurons in our brains than there are stars in the visible sky and the connections between them, are to all intents and purposes, infinite”.

We really do not need such brains and systems for computing n-complexity in order to poke at anthills with sticks in monkey fashion; and the simple reason that we only “use 5%” of our brain capacity is because most of the rest of it is there for computing multi-ordinate, n-complexity systemics in the Oceans of Energy.

That is a natural ability with which everyone is born and everyone can do this, if they want to – and if their energy systems are flowing freely because these energies do not just carry “life energy” and “nutrients” but indeed, they carry information of such density and complexity, it is breathtaking and entirely un-imaginable in terms of data storage in mechanical systems we are familiar with.

We have already observed how five minutes of EMO gave people understandings of how their problems originated in a fantastically logical fashion that they most likely would have taken many years in therapy to arrive at – if they had been able to arrive at these insights at all, using 1-2-3 linear talk and the flat limited logic that we have all been entrained into since birth.

You might recall the lady who had been stalked and found a “backbone” through the aggressive energy – but more so, she completely understood why she had been the target and victim of bullying and stalking her entire life, what the nature of this victimhood was and how to change this.

That is a very, very complicated cause-and-effect set and yet, everyone who reads this case story or hears about it, just like the EMO-P who was present and the lady herself, “understands it perfectly” even if it is very difficult to explain in words exactly how that all works, how it all hangs together across the time and space of not only her totality, but that of all her aggressors as well.

There was also the gentleman who had build a wall between his students and himself. The original kernel around which the wall grew was a defensive device against his father, a survival device designed to stop his young and developing neurology from burning out under the onslaught of fierce energies that his young systems were incapable of channelling safely.

But the kinds of “quantum insights” that can be arrived at with the EMO process are sometimes even more extraordinary. Always completely logical with hindsight, it is truly an awesome experience when something profound and very basic becomes revealed and the person in question (and their EMO-P!) learn something important about themselves.

Here is an example of such a profound insight.

This client was seeking weight reduction for health purposes and was working on a sensation of strong hunger which would arise spontaneously and then she would have to eat large amounts of bulky (starchy) foods in order to make those hunger pangs go away.

As many other EMO clients, she had already received much therapy, counselling and coaching which had not impacted the problem.

We pick up the story just after the EMO-P has asked where in her body she feels these hunger pangs.

C (puts hands on large stomach, fingers spread wide apart): “I feel it right here. It really is painful.”

EMO-P: “Well, let us consider the energy there. Where does it want to go?”

C: “There is an upward pressure.”

EMO-P: “Let it flow and gently encourage it to go upward, tell me what’s happening as you do it, please.”

C: “It is going up my chest, between my breasts, into my throat and ... oh ... oh I don’t believe it ...oh no ...” (starts to cry softly)

EMO-P: “What happened?”

C (crying silently): “I know what the hunger is, the emptiness I’m trying to fill. There should be babies in there.”

This client was truly shocked and absolutely at a loss to explain why she never even thought of this before; she had three grown children and consciously, never once expected to be wanting any more. The session developed into an understanding that when this lady had felt her babies move inside her stomach during pregnancy, she had felt “not alone” for the only time in her life and now, when she felt alone, “the hunger pangs” would arrive.

What is so fascinating about this process and the cognitive repercussions is that with hindsight, it is totally logical and absolutely understandable – yet would never have been discovered by “talking with the head” at all because in her head, she was absolutely congruent that she didn’t want any more children and really didn’t even want the ones she’d had.

The fact simply is that we cannot solve all our problems with the kind of communication we are used to – not between each other and not within ourselves. Talking with linear language and thinking linear thoughts gets us not very far in the realms of a totality that is made of energy, of physicality and of conscious thought that can affect the very fabric of reality.

The breakthrough cognitions that go with EMO make a re-connection between all parts of the totality and that is a very important aspect of working with EMO.

For example, in this lady’s case now there is compassion for the parts of her that suggest a solution to the problem of “being alone”; her eating behaviours make total sense and there is no longer a war between the various parts of consciousness, neurology and physiology. Even if the problem of “energy collapse due to loneliness” had not been tackled in the session afterwards and resolved, a very different state of understanding and congruency in self would have been achieved.

To have the correct information about occurrences in the Oceans of Energy is of course, a prime requisite of being able to function successfully, to survive without damage and to be able to take action in response to the environment that will work. Fighting loneliness with calorie counting doesn’t work; it doesn’t bring the correct results, it really is as simple as that. It leads to chaos and even more disturbances. Relieving the energetic blockages that create the sensation of loneliness, on the other hand, brings about immediate cessation of both that as well as ending the well-meaning yet futile attempts to replace babies with carbohydrates to create a similar body sensation.

The aspect of energy as a carrier for information is probably one of the most exciting and most fascinating aspects of the EMO process once we get beyond mere emergency treatments.
 

Learning “With The Heart”

The Yellow Emperor notes that “You learn with your heart and you process with the head.”

I am sure I don’t have to tell you how the First World learning and teaching methods have that particular rat hanging upside down by the tail entirely – you have been to school, you know what it is like when you are sitting there and try to stuff that dusty nonsense into your head with your heart yearning to be elsewhere.

That is systemically so appalling that words truly fail me.

There are even suggestions that “if you can make the material interesting, the student’s retention rate increases significantly”.

Dear oh dear. Wake up “the heart” just a little and a little is learned; learn with “the heart” directly and all is learned, then we can process in the head afterwards.

Strangely, I know this of course and so does just about every teacher who does not have a giant energetic wall between themselves and their students. For years, I have been structuring workshops to say virtually nothing past, “Good morning, my name is Silvia and I will be your instructor for the next three days ...” and to go straight into an exercise. I did this on the grounds that if someone has an experience of something, then we have something to talk about and not before and you will notice that all my books are structured in that way as well – straight into the material and the explanations come later because I am too well aware what happens when people try to discuss something they have no experience of.

When you open yourself to the world and take in the energy of a thing, you learn about the thing in a whole new way.

So, for example, if you wish to become a geologist, energetically speaking the right approach would be to spend time with rocks, open yourself to these rocks and let their energy flow into you, bringing with it all you need to know about the nature of rocks. When you have done that and not before, you can begin what the First World wrongly terms “study”, which is looking at the head stuff – chemical composition, maps of where they occur, formation and such.

That way around, you will be a first class geologist who will contribute significantly to the collection of human head knowledge about rocks; chances are you will be able to add some very surprising findings about rocks that “came from nowhere” and they will hail you as a genius in geologist circles.

The same applies for every field of human endeavour – there are levels of learning, of knowing, of understanding which are way, way above and beyond book learning.

When you begin to work with “the energy of learning” for yourself and in this way, you will probably encounter energy blockages on the topic of learning that have arisen because of the wrongful ways learning is being handled systemically and the terrible experiences we have all had, leading to totally damaged self constructs believing that they are stupid, that they cannot learn, that they cannot learn to understand because they have failed to arrange two dimensional symbols in the “correct” order and linear sequence.

Here is an exercise you can do for yourself or try it with a handy child and simply note, like a true scientist and explorer what happens when you do.

  1. Find a rock. Most will head straight for a meaningful crystal at this point but I would suggest you go outside and find a little stone in the street as all the “learnings” you have programmed into your head about crystals will cause more contortions and blockages in your energy system than would normally already be present and we don’t need that at all for this beginning exercise.

  2. Put the rock on a table and sit, looking at it. Relax.

  3. Where can you feel that rock in your body? Show me with your hands.

  4. Where does the energy from the rock want to go? Allow it to come in and find the requisite channels.

  5. Allow the rock energy to flow into you, through you and out.

  6. Keep it up until you have a steady flow between you and the rock that needs no further conscious attention but runs naturally by itself.

  7. When you have learned, thank the rock and put it back where you found it.

This is the basic move of “learning with energy”.

You might come away from this exercise a little disappointed because it might have felt nice but when you look for “real information” about the atomic weight of the molecules in the rock, there seems nothing new there – that is NOT the kind of learning we are doing here. That is kid’s stuff – this form of learning has been reserved for shamans, priests, healers and their apprentices throughout the ages, the very best people of the tribe.

A hundred thousand years ago it may have been so that only the very best people could learn that way – now, we all have the neurology to just that. It is time that custom got in sync with genetic evolution and tribal habits caught up with reality – and that reality is that we can all learn to understand not just rocks but trees, animals and even other people on that level.
 

Opening To True Learning

Now, go out and learn. All it needs is to firstly, consciously becoming aware of any blockages, shields, barriers to receiving the energy from (the tree, the cat, the plant, the grass, the earth, the sky, the night, the moon, etc etc etc) and to dissolve them so that the energy may flow freely through the requisite pathways and enter our energy bodies. In doing so, these energies will be like “the hand that passes across the clay tablet” and the learnings will become yours, a part of you absolutely – they can never be forgotten, they cannot be undone and no-one can ever take them away from you.

I cannot tell you what that feels like nor what that does for you as a person; you will have to go out and experience it for yourself.

Keep doing it, and remember that the true object of the EMO exercise is to put this whole happening on automatic pilot so that you don’t have to think about it any longer. So that when you are in the presence of something you want to know better and feel more connected with, understand on a visceral level of having true experience of it, your energy system automatically corrects the blockages to this energy because it has learned that is what you want and need it to do.

Once you have found the courage and conviction to be doing this consciously, we can move on to the PhD of energy learning – learning from people.
 

The Clear Blue Field And The Problem Of Erosion

The so called “pyramid of human learning” which refers to book learning or head learning rather than experience which is what learning with energy straight into our energy bodies could be called has through the millennia (and still does today on a massive scale!) suffered from the Chinese Whispers problem.

I have much experience (yes, indeed, experience!) with the evolution of a field beyond the person who originated it in the first place.

What happens regular as clockwork is that a person discovers or develops something that brings about truly amazing results when they do it. Students flock to them in order to learn how to do the same; but they don’t and what was a “clear blue field” of something or other that was amazingly effective becomes eroded with every teaching and learning generation away from the originator until, within a few short years, it becomes entirely unrecognisable as what it used to be and muddy, diluted, and basically ineffective.

It is my supposition that this happens because the students don’t allow the energy from the teacher to become a part of them and to change them so that they may learn to do the same as the teacher did.

It is my further supposition that this occurs primarily because of the “silverback” principle – some form of genetic and culturally enshrined monkey behaviour by which there is one silverback who commands the tribe and although the young wannabes watch him with envious eyes, they need to be better than him and when it is their turn on the throne, must overthrow anything that would remind anyone and including themselves that there ever was another silverback before them.

Plato and Aristotle, if you will. A dynamic which condemned the lot of us to spend over 2000 years in the dark ages and they are not over yet, not by a long shot.

When I put forth the proposition that in order to really, really learn from any teacher, one would have to open up entirely to them and allow their energy to run into you and change you, people simply freak out. But – would we not be poisoned by them and all their shortcomings? Would we not become their slaves? Fall in love with them? Never have another original thought of our own? Inherit their limitations and make the same mistakes?

Well, what can I say.

Try it if you dare, and if you dare, you might just find that what happens and what you learn from this is as different from your expectations as the before and after definitions of that young gentleman we met earlier of “Beauty”.

For what its worth, whenever I have done it, I have come away loving the person indeed. I have understood them in a way that I cannot explain in words, and I have been completely aware of their limitations and disturbances as a result, allowing me to move their explorations on without having to destroy them or thinking of myself as being better as they are. I also understood their materials and explanations perfectly and moreover, what they were teaching and how they were trying to teach it made perfect sense to me.

 

All The World Your Teacher

I have met many people who were seeking a or even THE teacher, the one who would bring them to enlightenment and who would show them the way out of their own personal darkness into paradise.

I used to look down upon these, especially the ones who would stick themselves to a one who would hold out that kind of promise like a limpet and then, when it didn’t work out yet again, turn poisonous against their previous teacher and still then set off for their next victim.

I understand now that they were nearly on the right track – and nearly there can be more frustrating by far than just not even being anywhere near this idea at all.

The thing is that if you consider the forms of learning we have been talking about, it would be madness to put the burden of developing you into enlightenment on the frail shoulders of a single human.

To learn about the universe, of course we need to learn about all the universe – including humble rock, the clouds and sand. People can teach us but not just one person – all of them.

Everyone can be your teacher in that way, and the more you open yourself to that without fear and nothing but desire to learn (and because it is such an amazing experience that feels so good!) the more you learn and the more experienced you become.

If you dare to learn, you can learn the most amazing things from a tramp in the street, from that annoying little old lady who is holding up the queue in the supermarket because she is trying to have a conversation with the bored check out assistant, from that droning, boring politician, from that low class urban layabout petty criminal, from that redneck army sergeant, from the downtrodden, worn out mother-of-five – from everyone.

What you will be learning is not just about their limitations but about the human condition. You could say that each and every person has something to teach you that you didn’t know about yet, that you might have never expected to know at all.

However, I appreciate that this is advanced people learning. You might want to start by just dropping all remaining barriers to your favourite teacher, someone you feel comfortable with and who has inspired you. You can evoke them by playing a video tape, an audio tape, bring out a book they wrote or look at a picture of the person.

Then, it is only a matter of the basic EMO process and for you open yourself wide and say, “Teach me.”

And perhaps the thought, deep in the back of your mind, that ...

“My heart is as open as the sky.”



 

The Doors Of Perception ...

There are things, I’m sure you know, between heaven and earth and beyond that do not come in the shape or form of a tree, a cat, a cloud or a person.

There are other realities from which we may learn energetically and where knowledge and cognition may reside that could truly take your breath away. ESP – extra sensory perception – what is that but learning just in that way we have been talking about across the last chapters? The future is there to be read like a book in the quantum spaces where here is now, yesterday and a million years ago are happy next door neighbours and space is not an issue, either. Reading other people’s minds, predicting events and even influencing the very fabric of time and space at will are all possible from the basic presuppositions of the universe where EMO comes from.

Are you ready to cleanse your doors of perception?

Just for interest and perhaps to wonder, where are my "doors of perception" or if they're not doors, what would they be? and where? and where do I feel that special fear at the thought of clearing my "doors" of perception? or what would happen if I really started to perceive things as they really are?

What would we “see”? Dead people?

Are there really aliens, demons, angels, ghosts?

Are there really spirits in the trees, in the rocks, in the ground?

Is there a God?

We might best be speaking about the "shields to perception" and of course, that's a plural and it may be very, very interesting to have a little feel around for those, have a little wonder of what would happen if ...

Perhaps a pinprick hole at first might be in order ...

I leave you with this thought and the tantalising possibilities that reside in this entire notion.
