A cascade is a particular form of threshold shift that is experienced as data streams or memories that rush by so fast, the conscious mind can't keep up.

Originally observed in Project Sanctuary experiences, cascades can occur in Star Matrix, but also in other forms of energy work when an energy blockage suddenly gives way, and there is a rush of energy which contains a tremendous amount of information. The experience of a cascade is a Star Event in its own right.
