We've received a number of emails from trainers who were asking similar questions about the new EFT Master Practitioner course which has been written by Silvia Hartmann.

This is the most popular new qualification the GoE has launched in a number of years and the office has been inundanted with people booking onto the inaugural live training in November as well as the distance learning program.

Please may all GoE trainers read through the following information which we hope you'll find useful.

How do I become an EFT Master Practitioner trainer?

AMT licensed trainers who attend either the live event with Silvia Hartmann in November or complete the distance learning program will be entitled to teach the new qualification from 1st January 2012.

After 1st January 2012 you’ll be able to attend live events offered by trainers who attended the November training. You’ll then be able to teach it yourself.

AMT licensed Trainer Trainers will be able to teach the new qualification from 1st January 2012 without attending a live training or enrolling on the distance learning program.

What training materials will be available?

EFT Master Practitioner trainers will receive a full and comprehensive training manual as provided by Silvia Hartmann after the 1st January 2012. These will make teaching the new training a doddle.

Each student will need to be given a comprehensive practitioner manual which has been written by Silvia Hartmann to include everything they need to know about the theories and techniques.

Rather than photocopying or self-assembly, this will be our first practitioner manual that will be available for purchase from central office. The reasons for this are legion but include making the life of the trainer easier and also making a professional impact on the student.

Trainers that work in a foreign language may offer a translation to us for duplicating on their behalf. We’ll then offer you a small translator royalty for manuals sold in your language.

The GoE is currently working towards a per copy charge of £10.00 with a minimum order of 3 copies. This price includes UK postage but International postage will be 10% more per order. Contact us to order.

There will be a normal lead time of two weeks on practitioner manuals as we’ll have them printed especially for you. If you order a good number outside the UK then we’ll look into working with a local printer to ensure we’re being as eco-friendly as possible.

For large quantity orders of 20 or more, we’ll also be able to customise a version specific to you, such as having your logo on the front cover.

Is the Energy EFT Master Practitioner the same as the MET Practitioner?

None of the material is the same.

Silvia Hartman has designed it to be a total rewrite of EFT from the ground-up based on all the latest developments since Gary Craig first introduced the technique in the 90s.

What material will be covered?

This is a pure-EFT qualification aimed at producing top-level practitioners.

The structure of the course is:

Day 1

  • Module 1: Discovering EFT
  • Module 2: Energy Body Stress
  • Module 3: The EFT Story
  • Module 4: The Professional EFT Practitioner

Day 2

  • Module 5: EFT=Extremely Focused Treatments
  • Module 6: Working With Aspects
  • Module 7: Working With Emotions
  • Module 8: Energy Body Events

Day 3

  • Module 9: Changing The Mind
  • Module 10: Energetic Relationships
  • Module 11: Autogenic Universe
  • Module 12: Master Practitioner Of EFT

What requirements and criteria must new students meet?

Although a student can come into this course with absolutely no experience of EFT whatsoever, this course is best suited for people who are seeking a professional EFT qualification and intend to work with clients. This is not a self-help course.

The MET Practitioner was the first EFT qualification available world-wide so had to do a lot of convincing that the technique should be taken seriously. Thankfully, 13 years on and EFT is widely accepted thus this course can go straight into the material.

For the distance learning course, we ask people to read “Adventures in EFT” by Silvia Hartmann. By reading through this joyful book it allows students to discover if EFT is right for them before enrolling on the course.

How many days does the live training take to teach?

This is a training of 12 modules in total which are taught over 3 days.

Although students can gain an attendance certificate for Day 1 and 2, the qualification is not complete until all three days have been passed successfully.

People do not have to attend these days concurrently, for example Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. As the trainer you may choose to schedule one-day-per-week or one-day-per-month. It is however essential that a student completes the days sequentially and does not for example attend Day 3 before attending Day2.

Note: Silvia Hartmann’s inaugural event in November is a two-day fast-track version of the Energy EFT Master Practitioner Training. The qualification is the same for people who attend the full-length 3 day training.

Is the new qualification similar to Gary Craig’s “EFT Masters” program?

No.

Gary Craig ran the “EFT Masters” program between 2005 and 2007 so due to retirement there will be no new “EFT Masters” created.

What the “EFT Master Practitioner” training does is to teach people how to be the most up-to-date and thoroughly trained EFT practitioners possible.

We also do not require EFT Master Practitioners to exclusively use EFT in their practice. We feel that people with a broad knowledge of other techniques make for better EFT practitioners.

What certificate do students receive?

On successful completion of the three days, the student will receive the “Emotional Freedom Techniques Master Practitioner” certificate as certified by The Association for Meridian & Energy Therapies.

For a student who has completed Day 1 or Day 2, an attendance certificate will be available.

Can I stick to teaching the MET Practitioner?

Yes, if you like.

But considering how popular we’ve been finding the Energy EFT Master Practitioner we would recommend trainers start offering the new qualification.

Do I have to wait till 1st January to schedule my first training?

No, we’re keen for Energy EFT Master Practitioner trainings to start filling our 2012 events listings. If you are booked into the November training and would like to set a date next year then please go ahead and send us the details.

If you announce the date of your 2012 trainings before 3rd October 2011 then we’ll include it in ‘Energy!’ which will be made available to conference goers and throughout 2012 as the GoE journal.
