The GoE code-of-conduct is designed to protect both full members of our learned society, as well as members of the general public who engage their professional GoE qualified meridian & energy therapy based services. One of the key conditions in the code-of-conduct is that all full-members must be covered by practice insurance. This notice covers what we recommend to our members. Full-members who work in the United KingdomThe GoE requires that all full-members have practice insurance which includes Public Liability (eg: someone trips over in your office) and Professional Indemnity (eg: someone abreacts and begins litigation against you).
Note: If you work Internationally then please ensure you have insurance cover in each country you provide a professional service in Full-members who work in Rest Of WorldLike UK full-members, you are required to have insurance for Public Liability & Professional Indemnity but only if this is available in your country. We advise you speak to your insurer in your country and ask them to recommend a cover suitable to offer you the best protection.
