** Article: What Makes EFT or EMO an Ideal Brief Intervention for Coaching? By Kimberley Lovell

This article from GoE Trainer Kimberley Lovell looks into the use of both Emotional Freedom Techniques EFT and EMO as brief intervention for coaching.

Kimberley Lovell writes: “Whilst coaching draws from the world of psychotherapy, there are differences. Therapy is traditionally for people with deeper seated issues who may need to explore their past, whereas coaching is for people who are in the main, happy with their life, and wanting to improve upon a particular area or goal in life.

Whilst many coaches work with and are trained within positive psychology, the majority of coaches are not trained psychotherapists and though the coaching industry is now drawing more and more from the psychotherapeutic models, the coaching focus must remain on coaching not therapy.

How then can a coach help a client whose past is clearly present, and sabotaging their best efforts? What simple yet powerful effective tools can a coach share that will empower their client and help them to move forward towards their goals?

As Energy Psychology healing modalities, EFT and EMO are ideal tools for coaches.”

** Blast From The Past: The Love Clinic – Top Love Tips on Love from Sandra Hillawi

In this article originally from August 1st 2008, Sandra Hillawi gives us some top tips on love.

Sandra writes: “Anger, frustration, hurt, fear, anxiety, sadness, jealousy, neediness etc. all come from disruption to energy flow. Life energies come into our experience and build up as we can’t always handle them well. We feel these emotions as physical pain or pressure in the stomach, chest, the heart, the neck, the head accompanying the negative emotions.

This revelation that its all energy now gives us the simplest and most elegant ways to transform our negative emotional energy back to flow states. We simply notice where it hurts, where the pressure is, and we use our intention for this energy to soften and flow. We then just watch and feel as the energy releases and flows through the body, thus creating flow states of more love and happiness. Out goes conventional psychology. Today it’s all about energy. Is the energy of life flowing in through and out or is it blocked?”
