Over time these references become evidence for a conclusion that may have started as a simple interpretation. This is how emotional patterns and personal narratives become stronger. The brain keeps reinforcing the story it was trained to prove. Understanding this mental process helps explain why certain thoughts and reactions repeat automatically.
