Let me tell you what ultimate forgiveness actually is. Because most people have it completely backwards. It is not calling them and saying the words. It is not pretending what happened was acceptable. It is not releasing them from accountability. Ultimate forgiveness is very simple. Change every bad memory inside you that you held against them.
