Robert Gene Smith has posted a YouTube video:
Why do some people heal while others don't, even with the same treatment? Nocebo effect (the opposite of the placebo effect) is a belief and expectation that can block healing. Your brain is constantly filtering reality through a system called the reticular formation. It searches for evidence that supports what you already believe. If someone expects healing, the brain supports that process. If someone expects failure, the brain amplifies fear, doubt, and symptoms. The mind becomes an amplifier for belief. This explains why two people receiving the exact same treatment can have completely different outcomes. Understanding how belief systems influence the body is a key step in changing emotional and physical patterns.
