Asked about his choice of album title, Dave Depper said: "The title came from an ex-girlfriend of mine, who I’m still quite dear friends with. It came because I experience really bad stage fright, kind of randomly, which is terrible for someone who does what I do for a living. [Laughs] I was about to play a solo show, which is very rare for me, so I was especially freaking out. And I was talking to her on the phone, and she was kind of talking me off the ledge. "She said, “have you heard of this thing called ‘Emotional Freedom Technique?’” Those were the craziest three words I’d ever heard. She said it’s this science of calming yourself by tapping rhythmically on pressure points. I was already like, “I don’t even care about what it is, that’s the best name I’ve ever heard.”" Read the full article with Dave Depper here.
