EmoTrance VS Reiki

On The Differences Between EmoTrance & Reiki Energy Healing Systems

EmoTrance is most well known as an energy healing modality. This can create confusion as to the nature of EmoTrance, and the question of arises, "What is the difference between EmoTrance and Reiki?".

EmoTrance is a 21st century designed modality designed to work with the human energy system at the most direct and personal level possible. Unlike Reiki, EmoTrance is the result of 25 years of practical research with everyday, real people living in the real world. Many tens of thousands of people were involved over the years in the different research programmes which finally evolved in the theory and practice of EmoTrance.

EmoTrance comes complete with a full developmental history, with supporting theory and pre-supposition, all of which is documented in detail in Oceans Of Energy, The Patterns & Techniques of EmoTrance Vol. 1.

Unlike Reiki, any human being and including young children are naturally able to use the patterns and techniques. There is no "magical activation" by a "master" or anything mysterious about EmoTrance. It is a simple practical application of basic principles relating to the energy body, and how the energy body (old term "spirit") directly produces full body states, including emotions, thought and the behaviours and experiences which follow from this in a direct cause-and-effect fashion.

EmoTrance does not use any form of secret symbols, hidden knowledge nor does it rely on a myriad of pre-presented charts, lines, points, positions et al.

Instead, EmoTrance uses the ACTUAL PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE of any one unique human being to localise the actual position of disturbance in the human energy system, and then treats these disturbances directly.

In EmoTrance, and this is very unlike Reiki, ALL energies that can be felt and experienced are used as and when they are required, rather than just one "magical healing frequency" for everything.

The direct, experienced based description of the sensations of the energy system which comes from the client themselves of EmoTrance allows to map the individual energy system AND human created energy occurrences, such as thoughtfields, and shields. EmoTrance allows the practitioner to thereby deal not only with disturbances in emotions and sensations, but also with mind healing - mental blocks, mental disturbances, unclear thought, beliefs, values, attitudes and much, much more besides.

In spite of the wide ranging applications of EmoTrance, all of it relies on a simple system that works ONLY with direct feedback through the body to avoid delusions, illusions and instead have a reliable and practical approach that actually works to change people's experiences for the better.

Lastly, unlike Reiki, EmoTrance does not make any claims to "miracle physical healing". EmoTrance is a specialist technique that works exclusively with the energy systems of the human totality and nothing else. If and when physical benefits emerge or physical healing takes place, that is regarded as a side effect but the not the central aim and outcome of the treatment.

The central aim and outcome in all EmoTrance treatments is to bring back the Even Flow to systems in the energy body. When this occurs, a person experiences undeniable, powerful emotional changes and cognitive changes - they feel brighter, clearer, more present and aware, and far more able to deal with life in every way.

A significant difference between EmoTrance and most other healing modalities is that in a practitioner setting, the client is not just a helpless recipient, but instead, an equal partner who needs to actively engage in the healing process. This is known as the "client practitioner dance" in EmoTrance, and reflects the non-hierarchical structure of co-operation and exploration of equals with a will to health or Even Flow that is at the heart of this modality.

EmoTrance is in that sense more than just a healing modality, for it does not seek to simply alleviate symptoms so that one may experience an absence of emotional or mental pain, but to move someone from a state of pain into a positive and uplifting state of delight, joy, and happiness - the energised end state of EmoTrance, that is proof that the healing has taken place and the Even Flow has been re-established.

EmoTrance is therefore both in theory and in practice very different from Reiki, as can be expected from a system designed by a 21st century Western scientist as opposed to one channelled by an 18th century Oriental mystic.

However, one of the great strengths of EmoTrance is that, as it is systemic and structural, it may be used to remove blockages and improve energy channelling performance in Reiki practitioners, their diagnostic abilities, sensitivity and skill in symbol usage and overall healing effectivity.

EmoTrance is thereby not a competitor to Reiki, but a different system and  methodology altogether that works meta to, as well as side by side with, Reiki and other energy channelling methods and techniques.
