The Positive EFT Introduction Pattern

Just come back from the Brighton MBS where I fine tuned and modelled how this thing is done when you are standing there and suspicious strangers sidle by ...

To make this work, it helps to have that GoE chart with the positives on the one side, the SUE scale and the tapping points on the other.

Ours were laminated and A4 in size. That proved to be helpful.

1. Literally hold out the positives chart in front of people's faces to stop them.
2. Say cheerfully, "Would you like to choose a positive?"
2a - If they look too terrified, add, "It's free!"
3. Notice as they start seeing the Positives. There is a noticeable energy shift as they focus.
4. They will ask a question, such as, "How do I choose?" or, "Do I pick one with my eyes closed?" or "Which one should I choose?"

The answer to that is, "Pick one that jumps out at you or one you just really like to have more of in your life."

4a - If they just can't decide, encourage them by saying, "Just pick one. They won't run away. It's just energy, that's everywhere, and it's always free!"
5. Whatever they've chosen, take a second to tune into it yourself. This helps you be completely congruent and truthful when you say, "Oh yes, that's a good one!" or words to that effect.
6. Turn over the chart and show the tapping points. Say, "Have you heard of EFT?"
6a - If the person says, "No." you explain briefly that we have an energy body, it has veins called meridians, and when they get blocked up we feel bad. When energy flows freely, we feel good. By putting more positive energy thru the channels, we feel better.

Then you tap very lightly on the back of their hand to demonstrate the light "making the contact" movement and say, "It's your energy hands tapping on your energy body which makes this work, not the flesh hands on the flesh body. That only helps us to know where to tap."

Then you turn the chart over and say, "It takes only 2 minutes when you do it by yourself and you can choose any energy form you need to make you feel better."

"Try it at home!" Give them the chart and let them go.

6b. Some people say, "Yes I know of EFT/tapping and it's good."

You say, "Yes it is! This is the NEW EFT and it's even better. It's for making you feel better and stronger in real life.

"For example, let's say you want to make a phone call but you don't want to.

"Instead of going into the reasons why not and how it is about having been abused by Uncle Fred when you were 11, you ask yourself, "What positive would give me the strength I need to make that phone call?"

"You pick one, let's say, POWER. You tap on that. Then you ask yourself, can I make that phone call now?

"Hmm ... yeah it's better but I'm not sure ...

"Pick another positive. What else do I need to make that phone call? Let's say it's ENERGY.

"So you tap on ENERGY - and then you feel ready to make the phone call.

"See this new EFT is about getting things done in the real world, for people who need to get things done and haven't got time to spend years psycho-analysing themselves. Makes sense?"

Not one single person didn't nod all the way through that!

6c. Surprisingly many people responded to the question of, "Do you know about EFT or tapping?" with variations on ...

"Yeah I've seen it but I don't like it ..."
"Yeah a friend of mine does it but I don't like it ..."
"Yeah I tried it a few years back but I don't like it ..."

Here, you say, or cry aloud, "AHA! That's because that is the old EFT which was all about psychoanalysing yourself.

"This is the NEW EFT - it's all about bringing POSITIVE energy into your life, so you feel better fast!"

(And if need be, tell the "making a difficult telephone call" story from above).

7. You can send people along with just the chart after this, or give them a demo, or let them watch a demo with other people.

Not everyone needs to tap a round of EFT with you right away. Indeed, letting people take the chart away and try it themselves at home can be the best intro.

There was not a single person who did not stop and at the very least, chose a positive. Even if they clearly didn't want to do anything else, I could just say, "May you have more TRUST in your life, blessed be!" and let them go. Which got a nod, a thank you, a smile from every person.

You just can't go wrong with this.

And more.

It became very clear to me that you do not have to spend thousands on these expensive MBS shows.

This can be done on a public street, in a market, with any person whatsoever.

I deliberately targeted husbands and snarking boyfriends who had clearly been dragged along against their will and they behaved exactly like the "holistic bunnies." Indeed, they were often easier than the bunnies who had already developed a thick skin against healing promises by various systems.

The system is excellent and it really works.

The fact that people want to feel better makes it nearly infallible.

The chart with the positives on it is a perfect thing to hold out and catch attention with.

The three things - the positives chart, the EFT points and the SUE scale - together make for a fascinating thing to take away and to PLAY WITH. The A4 size and the fact the chart was laminated makes me think it's not going to be thrown away so easily when they get home.

Deliberately, I kept doing the same thing and refining it over the three hours I was doing this today.

This pattern really works.

It opens the door to be doing this just about everywhere.
