After doing tapping for over 25 years now, I have developed my own way of tapping to maximise energy flow and positive tapping results, as you can see in my tapping videos. 

The energy points are not carved in stone, because we are not really dealing with "points" at all, but instead with energy FLOWS and energy STREAMS.

Along the way of these many streams, there are innumerable "points" we could be tapping on, and in fact I invite you to find your own personal "power tapping points" anywhere on your own body!

For beginners in Modern Energy, it is of course lovely, to have a simple recipe which works and provides a foundation for further research and experimentation.

Here is my personal technique in Modern Energy Tapping explained.

 

 

The Heart Position

The Heart Position is literally a gift from above. It is instantly stabilising, grounding and feels protective and supportive.

Starting and finishing the energy tapping sequence in the Heart Position creates a sense of completeness and empowerment.

Our energy hands, our healing hands of energy, become activated when we place them into the powerfield of the Heart of Energy, and when we then use them for tapping, our results become much, much better.

Tip: If you feel you run out of power during the tapping sequence, simply return to the Heart Position for three deep breaths before you continue. This re-charges your healing hands and gets you back on track.

To end the sequence of Modern Energy Tapping in the Heart Position is likewise, very important. It gives us time and space to process the changes, allows the energy body to stabilise in its new re-organisation and helps us transition back into complete waking awareness.

I personally like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU! at the end.

 

Double Tapping and Bilateral Tapping

 

Double tapping means to place one finger stationary on the point, and then use the other finger to tap on the first.

I like double tapping as the energy body has two sides, and by using both hands I am engaging both sides of the energy body in the process.

Bilateral tapping, tapping the mirrored points with either hand at the same time, is done for the same reason. The more we engage the energy system, the better; and it feels nice to balance these bilateral flows at the same time.

 

• Tip: When I start on the tapping sequence, I keep my hand on my heart for the first two points, top of the head and 3rd eye point.

 

Connecting The Points

As we are not working with isolated points, but instead with energy streams and energy flows, I like to connect the points by stroking from one to the other. I find this really helps to improve energy flow.

 

 

 

 

The "Additional" Points

There are infinite "points" we could be tapping on all along all the many, many streams of energy flowing through our living energy bodies.

After doing energy tapping for a quarter of a century by now, there are some points which I simply feel belong into the sequence.

 

The Ring Finger Point

I have no idea why the ancient Chinese left out the ring finger. Of course it has the same energy flows that all the fingers have, and it has never made sense to anyone to leave it out.

Welcome back, dear ring finger, it's lovely to be dealing with all five fingers, or all ten, as is right and proper!

 

The Top Of the Head "Point"

This is more of a place rather than a point, a major conjunction and the tip of our physical pyramid. Really important, really powerful.

Please be GENTLE with this energy conjunction. Touch it carefully, find with your touch and how it feels where exactly it is located, and treat it with respect.

 

The Third Eye Point

Why we would leave this important point out of any tapping protocol is a mystery to me.

• Tip: In a quiet moment, put one hand on your heart and touch a fingertip to your 3rd eye point. Close your eyes and breathe deeply. A very interesting energy experience awaits.

 

Tip Of The Nose: The Magic Point

The tip of the nose is the very first part of our physical body to touch reality. I think of the tip of the nose as "the magic point." If you'd like to know more, there's a lengthy article here: https://energyeft.com/global_reversal_tip.htm

• Tip: If you can't remember something, or you have lost something, try tapping the tip of your nose for a moment.

 

The KO Point

This is a very interesting point, and has to do with how we face reality.

• Tip: Try using this point when you feel afraid. One hand on the heart, one finger on the KO point and breathe deeply.

 

Throat "Point"

If you've seen me tap, you will notice that I draw a line down from the KO Point across the middle of the throat.

When I do this, it stimulates the throat points without tapping on them, which can be unpleasant to men, especially if they are tapping way too hard.

The energy channels in the throat are important, often blocked and disrupted, and can really do with some energy healing/energy stimulation, plus that way, the head isn't so completely disconnected from the rest of the body for a change.

• Tip: Switch on your healing hands of energy in the Heart Position, then gently stroke your throat and neck.

 

The Shoulder Stroke

In the videos you can see that I tap the collarbone points bilaterally, then cross my arms and stroke down my shoulders to get to my hands for the finger tapping.

 

 

I do this to "connect the points" once more and create better energy flow in the sequence. Like the line drawn down the throat to connect the head with the body, the shoulder stroke connects the arms and hands to engage as much of the body as possible. .

• Tip: Activate your energy hands in the Heart Position and do a little shoulder stroking by itself. It feels very nice.

 

 

The "Surprising Statements"

The surprising statements are a special feature of Modern Energy Tapping.

Instead of repeating the same phrase on every point, we engage in a conversation with ourselves, and allow the statement to evolve.

The variations on the original Positive are personal; they allow us to explore many different aspects of any Positive, but most of all, they give us the chance to discover a Personal Power Positive.

A Personal Power Positive is the perfect statement that brings about a threshold shift and creates an expansion in the energy system, a Star Event, which is what everyone hopes for when they begin a tapping sequence.

For example, we can take the Positive of LOVE. A person now adds their own adjectives or qualifiers, such as "romantic love," "healing love," "empowering love" as they tap on each point and allow a new idea to come to them. On one point, they think/say "eternal love" - and have a fantastic +10 energy experience which leaves them not only energy high, but also understanding something important about LOVE they didn't realise before. This person can take "eternal love" now as a Personal Power Positive to use when they are stressed or scared as well in the future, which is an additional gift.

As we gently and mindfully tap each point in the sequence and allow the original Positive to evolve, we have many opportunities to discover our own Personal Power Positives - and these are always beautiful surprises.

Positive Tapping Solutions

Modern Energy Tapping works by engaging the Power of the Positives. Instead of re-stating the problem, we ask, "What do you need to get over this problem?"

The answer, which may at first include, "It would take a MIRACLE!" produces a Positive, in this case, MIRACLE, and that's the word we will be tapping on. This will produce better energy flow, especially when we work with the evolving surprising statements, so that when we ask, "And what else do you need to solve this problem?" for the next sequence, we are in a great position to experience some real threshold shifts in our situation.

There is an infinite ocean of powerful Positives available to each and every one of us. This is in and of itself, beautiful, soothing, and amazing, when we start to think about it.

When we then further personalise these powerful Positives in our own way, and find our own PERSONAL POWER POSITIVES, we gain a real treasure of healing, inspiration and evolution - and a direct, personal line to re-connect with the Oceans of Energy any time we choose to do so.

The best feature of Modern Energy Tapping, which always makes me smile, is that it is impossible to tap on the wrong Positive!

You simply cannot go wrong or make a mistake. Even if the Positive you choose at first isn't the perfect +10 solution right away, it will still uplift you, make you energy higher, less stressed. Every Positive is an aspect of love!

Working with the Power of the Positives in Modern Energy Tapping is a wonderful thing.

Improving the energy flow through our living energy bodies so they become happier and healthier is the goal.
